Maia Johnson is a woman of God, wife, mother, intercessor, and author. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communicative Sciences and Disorders from Hampton University and a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Old Dominion University. Mrs. Johnson has worked as a speech-language pathologist; however, her most rewarding work was as a stay-at-home Mom, using her professional talents to homeschool her children. She has served as a minister, teacher, intercessor, and women’s ministry leader.

Maia is an educator who enjoys the privilege of instructing students. She is a member of Hampton Roads Women for Education, Inc. This non-profit organization supports the academic endeavors of elementary, middle, high school, and college students. She is an avid writer and, in January 2023, self-published her first book on Amazon, Devotions for the Heart, a collection of devotions for those who seek to live a life with a heart that personifies God’s heart. Maia is passionate about seeing the brokenhearted healed and the bound set free. Maia lives in Chesapeake, Virginia, with her husband, Craig, and their four children.
