Mia Deneen Smith is a native of Virginia Beach, Virginia. She is a devoted wife and mother of three beautiful children. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music and a Master of Education degree from the University of Virginia. Mia has always had a passion for music since childhood and has traveled internationally, singing and performing. She spent a season in Rome, Italy, performing opera for the Opera Festival of Italy. Her first album, Look Up, was released in 2015, followed by her sophomore album, No Days Off, in 2018. In 2020, Mia released Hark Medley, a Christmas tribute. All proceeds from the tribute went to benefit Rebuild Haiti, a ministry to the Haitian people. In 2021, Mia’s song titled Abide was released. This was her first endeavor writing for other artists. This year, Mia released her single entitled Resurrection, featuring her two oldest children, who co-wrote the project. 

Mia has performed on the Nightline television show, was a featured artist for the Women of Purpose Radio Show, and was a featured artist at the Hampton Musician’s Conference. She has taught vocal music in several schools, including the Young Musicians of Virginia. Mia Smith teaches women’s Bible studies and youth bible classes for schools and churches. She is the founder of Mia Deneen LLC., which exists to help people get closer to God.
